About NC Modernist Houses

The Triangle area of North Carolina has the third largest concentration of modernist houses in America — more than anywhere else except L.A. and Chicago. North Carolina Modernist Archive, Inc. (formerly Triangle Modernist Archive, Inc.) is an award-winning nonprofit organization that actively documents, preserves, and promotes Modernist residential design from the 1950s to today. We also build community around Modernist design in the Triangle area and throughout North Carolina by engaging the public through exciting house tours and a host of other events, as well as through our extensive online archive of Modernist houses and the designers who create them at www.ncmodernist.org.
